CDP Stakeholders

CDP KICKOFF

OCTOBER 28, 2020 | 145 ATTENDEES REPRESENTING 99 COMMUNITY GROUPS

Commissioner Tim Keane and Deputy Commissioner Janide Sidifall set the stage for what the Comprehensive Development Plan is and why we are updating it. They conveyed a key idea that this update will build-off of the work of Atlanta City Design. Community Engagement Manager Sonia Sequeira summarized the tenants of a public engagement approach aimed at including everyone in the CDP update.

Sonia detailed the three leadership and advisory groups that will guide the update process:

  • Public Leadership Group (PLG); elected officials and department leaders accountable for the CDP

  • Technical Advisory Committee (TAC); technical staff responsible for preparing the CDP

  • Stakeholder Advisory Committee (SAC); community and institutional groups who live with the impacts of the CDP
